TITLE IS SYSTEMS ANALYST REGION HCM LOCATION VIETNAM
REPORTS TO (TITLE) IS SYSTEM TEAM LEADER APPROVAL
INDIRECT REPORTING REGIONAL SALES MANAGER APPROVAL

BASIC PURPOSE

Provide on-going support and enhancements for Buffalo Sales Management System (BSMS). Ensure that enhancement delivered satisfies mandatory information requirements of the company.

Provide technical support for computer networks, including Servers / PC hardware equipment and associated systems software, telecommunication systems. Provide users with technical support for company software.

Coordinate as on-site support to implement global and local projects

Support sales users in creating data analysis reports. Create “on the fly” ad-hoc BSMS reports upon requested by RSM

Net salary: 10 - 15 millions VND

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

1. Provide on-site BSMS support, implement enhancements, troubleshoot system errors, coordinate with HCS Singapore to ensure smooth BSMS operations
• Assist users in daily operations, single point of contact for BSMS users in the city
• Execute and monitor system development and implementation plans to ensure delivery of agreed system functionality, quality standards adhered to and cost objectives are met
• Travel between 2 offices to provide on-site support to users when required
• Log all service requests receive from users to SD4, update and complete requests accordingly.
• Adhere to PM standard change management procedure via SD4 to ensure deliveries of quality system, sufficient documentation are provided and those systems are supportable after implementation.
• Coordinate with HCS Singapore in system enhancement development and implementation.
• Troubleshoot hardware issue, provide symptom information and coordinate with hardware vendor to fix issues.
2. Coordinate in global and local projects - global initiative rollout and local project implementation
• Execute and monitor systems development and implementation plans to ensure delivery of agreed system functionality, quality standards adhered to and cost objectives are met.
• Liaise with the user group to ensure adequate resources from users are assigned to project teams, adequate user testing of applications are carried out, and signoff obtained prior to implementation.
• Provide technology support to the application development and ensure smooth implementation of system products.

3. Provide on-going support and enhancements to the applications in production for global system and local systems.
• Propose functional or technical improvements on production applications in order to facilitate or reduce future maintenance efforts.
• Respond to incidents reported by users and liaise with the development team to ensure appropriate level of support is provided.
4. Provide day-to-day technical support of computer infrastructure, network and PCs.
• Respond to user requests for assistance to resolve technical problems.
• Configure PCs and related equipment to PM standards.
• Maintain equipment and software inventory list.
• Monitor and report network equipment and servers status. Alert MIS team of any failure or potential risk of network failure due to faulty components.
• Execute scheduled backup of business data files and monitor tape backup system.

BACKGROUND / EXPERIENCE

Experience required:

1. Educational
Undergraduate degree preferably in computer science or related disciplines.

2. Experience
2 years working experienced in IT, preferably in statistical data analysis, report development

Specialised or technical skills / knowledge required:

1. Skill and attributes
- Able to communicate in written and spoken English.
- Knowledge of major hardware and software packages and suppliers.
- Analysis, communication, and interpersonal skills
2. Specialized knowledge
- Proven ability in MS SQL database query and stored procedures
- Proven ability in MS Excel, including external data connectivity, macro
- Ability to troubleshoot and identify hardware issues, network related issues, application issues-
