Job Description
- Join a hands-on training and development program tailored for fresh graduates, covering both fundamental and advanced Physical Design (PD) skills.
- Work under mentorship of senior PD engineers on real SoC/IP projects.
- Learn and perform the complete PD / Back-end flow, including:
Netlist → Floorplanning → Placement → Clock Tree Synthesis (CTS) → Routing → Static Timing Analysis (STA) → Physical Verification (DRC / LVS / PV / Power / IR / EM checks). - Assist in optimizing chip PPA (Performance, Power, Area).
- Develop or maintain scripts/tools (Python, TCL, Shell, etc.) for PD automation and methodology improvement.
- Collaborate with RTL, PDV, Layout, and CAD teams to ensure timing, power, area, and manufacturability targets are met.
Qualifications
- Fresh graduate or final-year student (≤ 1 year experience) with a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, EDA, or related fields.
- Strong understanding of digital logic, Verilog/VHDL, CMOS fundamentals.
- Basic knowledge (or deep interest) in Physical Design / back-end flow.
- Familiarity with Python, TCL, Shell scripting is a plus.
- Comfortable in Linux / UNIX environments.
- Problem-solving mindset, eager to learn, detail-oriented, and a good team player.
- English proficiency for reading technical documentation and basic communication.
