Nuvixa Inc (https://vix.tv) is a US-based venture-funded start-up founded by graduates and faculty from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, Illinois, US. Nuvixa is fundamentally changing the experience of connecting with people through video online by exploiting the increasing deployment of 3D cameras like the Microsoft Kinect. Nuvixa video communication technology and products are focused in improving the 'presence' of remote participants in online communication, by immersing presenters and participants in a virtual space encouraging sharing and deepening the emotional connections.
POSITION: Senior Software Engineer (Full time)
WORK LOCATION: 196/12 Cong Hoa st, Ward 12, Tan Binh district, HCM city, Vietnam

JOB DESCRIPTION:
• Research and develop the company’s products, not outsourcing products;
• Responsible for design and architecture of software components or products;
• Analyze and resolve software issues;
• Deliver production code;
• Guide junior software engineers.
JOB REQUIREMENT:
Required skills:
• Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related field is required. MS or PhD is a plus;
• 5+ years of professional experience in software development;
• Excellent in C/C++;
• Experienced in MS Visual Studio and debugging tools for windows;
• Prove to be a good problem solver, proactive, able to work well under pressure and have a strong sense of ownership and accountability;
• Self-motivated and able to work independently or as part of a team across multi-cultural environment are desirable;
• Have a broad knowledge of technology, frameworks, solutions, and tools;
• Ability to deliver good production code;
• Ability to mentor junior programmers;
• Experience as technical lead on a software product.
Desired skills:
• Fluent English communication is a strong plus;
• Familiar with GIT and agile software development;
• Have a creative, careful mind;
• Experienced in writing multi-threaded applications, using multi-threading and inter-process, communication, synchronization primitives;
• Good background in Image/Video Processing and/or Computer Vision and/or Video streaming network is a strong plus;
• Knowing MacOS programming is also a plus.
