Job description
• Create test-related artifacts (Test coverage, test cases, test reports, Test scripts, Automation test framework)
• Participate in requirement/ test cases / Bug reviews
• Manage and performs test executions systematically
• Record successes and failures per test
• Assess and allocate suitable priority / severity levels to defects reported;
• Report failures through the defect management system provided, including precise details of symptoms and steps to recreate
• Report statistics when requested by Team Leader / Project Manager showing numbers of tests planned / executed / passed / failed, days expended, defects outstanding to be fixed, etc…
• Coordinate with other project team members to maintain delivery schedule of quality products
• Coordinates well within team to maintain:
o Delivery schedule on time
o High quality outputs
• Coordinate well with other support groups in order to facilitate QA activities
• Liaise with developers to ensure they are adequately informed to correct the defects
Job requirement
• Bachelor’s Degree in Software Engineering/Computer Science or equivalents.
• At least three (3) years of experience in software testing.
• Knowledge and experience in software testing methodology, software development life cycle, and software development process.
• Knowledge and experience of defect tracking systems.
• Knowledge and experience of programming languages, databases, and tools that match the company’s focus.
• Able to make test plan, test cases. Possesses organizational, analytical and report writing skills.
• Able to perform functional testing, user interface testing, acceptance testing, integration testing, system testing, load testing, manual/automation testing.
• Excellent initiative and problem solving skills.
• Highly motivated, client service mindset.
• Strong teamwork, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Good at English reading and written skills.
• Good at time, task management skills.
• Well-organized and strong attention to details.
• Having a certification of ISTQB (International Software Testing Qualifications Board) is preferred.
