Title: SOFTWARE SYSTEM ENGINEER
Location: DONG NAI & BINH DUONG FACTORIES
Job description:
• Take on level 1 support for JDE and other manufacturing related application. Oversee and look after the
usage of applications employed. Offer effective support to users as well business requirements
• Receive, analyse, coordinate, lead to execute requests from users
• To play mix roles of coordinator, leader, facilitator in working relation with ACCL (Amway China) and ABG
(Access Business Group), depends on nature and complexity of the work
Qualifications/Experience:
• Bachelor of Science degree, major in Information Technology, Computer Science
• Over 3 years’ experience in software systems programming or application programming using at least one
of following language: C/C++, Java
• Three years full time working experience on JDE, One Enterprise edition is preferred. Prefer roles of
system analyst, system administration, system operation and enhancement (development)
• Capable of building complex SQL statements with multiple join against DB2 or Oracle DBMS
• Has worked in manufacturing based environment which employs IT software system in manufacturing
management; especially having solid experience on following modules: warehouse and inventory
management, production planning
• Has sound experience in development and/or enhancement on JDE. Be able to design code and test
custom modules. Be able to customize existing or create new JDE report
• Besides having competent experience on Java and/or C/C++, experience on the following programming
languages and technologies is preferred: C#, VB.NET, .NET platform, J2EE, Spring, Excel and VBA,
Python, PHP.
• Solid knowledge of AS/400 (IBM System I). Sound experience programing on AS/400 using at least one of
following languages and CASE: RPG, CL, Cobol, Synon
• Possess systematic and critical thinking
• Be competent at analytical skill and prioritization capability
• Good performer in teamwork environment
• Good communication skill in both Vietnamese and English
• Be competent in English skill; both spoken and written
