Working Location: Ha Noi
Report to: Project Manager
JOB DESCRIPTIONS:
Job purpose:
• Manage your software product development team and ensure project targets (delivery date, software quality and workload) given by Project Manager and develop functions and bug fix of OpenStack, OSS Version.
• Manage following software product development project or part of project given by Project Manager.
Target software: Function Development/Bug Fix of OpenStack, OSS Version
Starting date of the project
• Starting date, from Octorber 1, 2015
• Open positions, 1 person
Reporting Line
• Project Manager (PM)
Development Environment
• Hardware; IA Server which can run Virtual Machine
• OS: Linux
Project Phase
• Target project phase: external design phase, detail design phase, program design phase,
• coding phase, unit test phase, integration test phase and system test phase.
Responsibilities
Targets Management
• Manage and support your team and ensure project targets of your team (delivery date, software quality and workload) given by Project Manager.
Communication
Communication with Senior Manager, Project Manager, Programmers, clients in Japan
and OSS community
Environments
Manage and support your team to set up a development environment and a test environment.
Outputs
Manage and support your team and create following deliverables and get approval from
Project Manager for the deliverables.
Training for Programmers
Conduct training for your Programmers to improve Software development skills and technical skills, related to OpenStack.
Team building
REQUIREMENTS:
Education
• Bachelor degree or equivalent in Computer science and Software Engineering
• At least 3 years’ experience as a Project Leader
• Software development, maintenance and support utilizing OSS experience
• Experience in proposals, development and interactions with any OSS community
• Preferable experience in network, storage, or server management
• Preferable experience in OpenStack development
• OS experience in Linux at least 3 years
• Programming Language: Experience in Python is mandatory
• Development tool: Experience in github is preferable
Skills
• English reading, writing and speaking skills are mandatory
• Japanese reading, speaking and writing skills are preferable.
BENEFITS:
• Salary: $1000 – $1500.
