EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS/ SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
We require that you meet the core competencies and skills listed below.
Very good analytical skills
Very good knowledge of data base architectures
LINUX skills and experience
Familiar with debugging and analyzing complex problems
Programming languages (mandatory):
Excellent knowledge of SQL
Advanced python
Programming languages (optional):
C++
Excellent communication skills in English (English Interview)
A plus will be skills in
Knowledge in Git, Gerrit, Jenkins
Experience as a database quality engineer / test engineer
EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
As a Quality Specialist you will be working in the quality assurance team of SAP HANA Platform together with a group of exceptionally talented and motivated colleagues.
Your tasks will also include:
Manage complex test scenarios and test coverage for the cross-component/cross-functional feature set of SAP HANA database
Analyze issues out of responsible test scenarios and report/work with engine developers to resolve the issue.

QUALIFICATION / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
University degree in Computer Science or related field
Knowledge in Web technologies such as JavaScript, jQuery, CSS, XML, and HTML5
Knowledge in object oriented concepts, data structures and algorithms, client-server technologies
Knowledge in data visualization technology such as D3.js
Proficiency in English language (Intermediate+); daily communication will be done in English
Practical experience in technical writing and creating documentation would be considered an advantage
Knowledge in database management system, especially SQL processing would be considered an advantage
Attention to detail and focus on quality
Willingness to learn and flexibility to switch to new subject matters quickly
Excellent team player, self-motivated, with strong communication skills
