Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum GPA of 6.5

• General knowledge of technical components necessary for building Android Software Development Kit (SDK).

• A good grasp on Android Studio.

We are looking for an Anti-Fraud Intern to join our team in HCMC, Vietnam!

The Anti-Fraud Intern contributes to GeoGuard’s success by researching suspicious and potentially malicious software that may negatively impact the business and customer’s business. This position will report directly to the Anti-Fraud Senior on a day-to-day and Anti-Fraud Lead on a weekly basis.
You are able to and enjoy working across multiple teams across locations, have good communication and interpersonal skills. You have proven your ability to work under tight timelines in your work experience and are highly organized and detail-oriented.

Your key responsibilities and accountabilities will include (but not limited to):

• Assist in the maintenance of a database containing suspicious and potentially malicious software programs which can have a negative impact on GeoGuard’s business. This will involve testing Remote Desktop Protocol, Fake Location Apps, GPS Emulator Apps, Rooted Apps, etc and preparing deployment packages

• Research new threats in the form of technologies and software programs
• Accurately report hours spent on tasks in Jira
• Commit to agreed deadlines
• Follow best practices and processes established in the team

Your Skills and Experience

• Good command in Microsoft Excel, Google Spread sheets and other similar programs
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Need to be meticulous and thoughtful while working
• Knowledgeable about the Information Technology field is an advantage

The Risk Analyst Intern contributes to GeoGuard’s success by providing managers with intel regarding the suspicious cases based on information and data gathered through the back office of our systems. This position reports to the Business Data Analyst Lead on a day-to-day basis.

Key responsibilities accountabilities include (but not limited to):

• Design and perform manual data analysis on live production data for detection of data anomalies and anti-fraud purposes
• Monitor release and development to foresee any issues that may arise in future
• Develop and maintain test plans, test cases and checklists related to the anti-fraud and compliance
• Perform manual acceptance testing of new features ahead of product releases
• Stay informed of configuration, deployment and database changes to ensure analytics tools are always working as expected
• Ensure future browser and operating system releases will not interfere with fraud detection solutions
• Data analysis and visualisation; review production statistics and forecast potential problem areas
• Review and analyze existing anti-fraud dashboards, tools, and reports, as a means of improving manual review methodologies
• Research and investigate new geo-blocking bypass methodologies
• Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the company’s technologies, process and team

Skills and qualifications
