Responsibility
- Designing and building advanced applications using the Amazon Web Services, Aliyun (Alibaba Cloud), and Microsoft Azure ecosystem
- Monitoring for uptime and high-availability for all solutions
- Accountable for performance and usability in all solutions
- Working with outside data sources and APIs
- Coordinating with Architect team on new designs and foundational / infrastructural application changes
- Integrating back-end services
- Understanding the need for optimized / customized mobile service responses / payloads
- Working on bug fixing and improving application performance
- Ensuring the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
- Accountable for maintaining organization and automatization quality standards
- Accountable for continuously discovering, evaluating, and implementing new technologies to optimize development efficiency
- Learning new technologies when required
- Understanding of continuous integration / continuous delivery concepts and the ability to troubleshoot related issues
- Assisting the team with product releases
- Providing estimates for new initiatives
Requirement
Must have
- Strong command in English both written and oral
- Good knowledge of bash scripting; php and node.js are a plus
- Experience knowledge of AWS and Aliyun (Alibaba Cloud) solutions
- Experience in working with CI/CD solutions (better if gitlab-ci)
- Experience in working with RESTful API type web services
- Experience in developing applications leveraging XML/JSON
- Good understanding of Data Modeling
- Knowledge of Kubernetes (Set-up using cloud solutions and managing a cluster)
- Knowledge of Terraform is a plus
- Strong technical, problem-solving, analytical, communication and interpersonal skills
- Confident to work independently and good time management skills
- Ability to work on diverse projects requiring detailed analysis, creative/practical problem solving, time management and logical judgment
- Understanding of importance of maintainable / sustainable product solutions
- Experience in working with third-party libraries and APIs
- Understanding of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies
- Good understanding of the full application development life cycle
- Working knowledge of Docker and related technologies
Nice to have
- Working experience in developing solutions used for mobile applications
- Amazon AWS certifications
- Understanding of Automated testing
- Well-versed and active user of GitHub
