- building our own product, an AI-powered technical assessment platform, that helps HR personnel to assess technical capability of software engineer candidates quickly, easily and accurately.
- maintaining an existing e-healthcare platform, in which patients can submit their medical symptoms and are then distributed to the right doctors.
Responsibilities
Your time will be distributed between maintaining the existing e-healthcare platform and building our HR-tech platform. As the e-healthcare platform is in the maintenance phase, we expect you will spend more time on the HR-tech platform.
Daily tasks may include but not limited to:
- Architect, design, and develop the technical foundation for our new application from scratch, considering factors such as scalability, performance, and security. Our priority now is speed so a medium functional technical foundation is okay for now.
- Maintain and fix bugs for the existing e-healthcare platform. Ensure the e-healthcare platform is up and running.
- Collaborate with our product owner and UX/UI designer to understand the requirements and translate them into technical specifications and implementation plans.
- Lead the end-to-end development process, including frontend (NextJS/ReactJS) and backend development (NestJS/TypeScript), database design, and integration of external services and APIs.
- Deploy the applications and ensure the application’s availability and reliability.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues, identify bottlenecks, and propose solutions to optimize application performance.
Must-have:
- At least a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
- At least 3 years of both front-end (ReactJS & NextJS) and back-end development (NodeJS & TypeScript)
- Familiar with building applications from scratch
- Familiar with taking over an existing application
- Comfortable working in small teams
Good-to-have:
- Experience in designing and developing RESTful APIs and integrating with external services and APIs.
- Proficiency in database design and management using MongoDB and Redis.
- At least an intermediate understanding of system design and architecture
- Solid understanding of cloud platforms, especially AWS, and experience deploying applications using containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
- Can communicate in English
