Android Developer Intern
Join MONIQ TAP and help us build high-quality Android applications for the Google Play Store. You’ll work alongside an enthusiastic product and development team, gain hands-on experience, and strengthen the skills needed to grow into a professional Android developer.
What You’ll Do
- Develop, test, and maintain Android applications
- Work closely with the Product Owner, Project Manager, and development team to deliver high-quality features on schedule
- Identify and resolve technical issues through effective testing and debugging
- Write clean, readable, and maintainable code
- Contribute ideas and take ownership of initiatives that support product and company growth
- Participate in code reviews, team discussions, and continuous improvement activities
What We’re Looking For
- Strong motivation to learn and grow as an Android developer
- Basic knowledge of Kotlin or Java
- Familiarity with Android Studio
- Good understanding of Android fundamentals, application lifecycles, and platform components
- Knowledge of object-oriented programming, functional programming concepts, and common design patterns
- Basic experience with Git, including branching, merging, and pull requests
- Appreciation for clean architecture and maintainable code
- Hands-on experience creating user-friendly mobile interfaces
- Ability to test, debug, and improve your own work
Nice to Have
- Final-year student or recent graduate in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Personal, academic, or freelance Android projects
- Applications published on GitHub or the Google Play Store
- Familiarity with REST APIs, JSON, local databases, or Android architecture components
- A proactive, detail-oriented, and solution-focused mindset
- Ability to work independently when needed
- Good English reading comprehension; speaking and writing skills are an advantage
- Willingness to learn, adapt, receive feedback, and continuously improve
- Open-minded, honest, positive, and collaborative attitude
