Senior C++ Developer
Position objective
As a software developer, you are responsible for design, implementation and maintenance of software solutions working as a member of a project team. This may involve personalization or development of a completely new solution for a specific customer or modification of an existing solution to make it fit with what the customer needs.
Responsibilities
· Design separate components, modules, classes, database tables etc.
· Code, debug, document, and maintain portions of software.
· Perform unit and integration testing.
· Participate in peer code and design reviews.
· Participate in estimation and planning sessions.
· Contribute to development of technical project documentation and user documentation.
· Provide assistance to test engineers and support personnel in solving technical issues of software installation and its operation.
· Participate in conference calls and face-to-face meetings with the Customer and Customer partners.
· Comply with the best engineering practices, the technical standards and the quality criteria set forth on the project.
· Report status and progress according to the project rules.
· Spot current deficiencies in the development process, adopted procedures and engineering practices, environment configurations, etc., and suggest improvements.
· Escalate technical issues to the Architect, Team Lead and Project Manager.
· Improve your qualification within the areas of expertise at various training courses, seminars and/or other educational organizations.
Job Requirement
· Object-Oriented Design, UML.
· Platform Internals: IPC, Multithreading.
· Good level in project technical area.
· Good knowledge of Algorithms and Data structures.
· Good knowledge of performance optimization tools and techniques.
· Good level of Networks and Security fundamentals.
· Familiarity with Agile Software Development
· Basic knowledge of work estimating techniques.
· Ability to learn new technologies quickly.
· Ability to come up with multiple solutions, pros/cons.
C++ Team Lead
Job description
· Participation in project planning and estimating.
· Establishing authority in the team in field of software architecture and development.
· Distribution and coordination of project tasks and interdependencies and monitoring of tasks fulfillment process, result control.
· Reporting on tasks realization based on the results of process monitoring in the team; providing of consolidated status reports to Project Manager.
· Timely escalation to Project Manager of risks and issues with potential significant impact.
· Regular communications with the customer; accurate transformation of customer wishes into a set of tasks for the team.
· Documenting of software development process: development of requirements specifications, architecture and low level design documents; revision of documents for compliance with company policies and customer requirements.
· Software development process: development of architecture, modules, sub-systems, functions (sets of functions), classes (sets of classes), libraries and databases in keeping with the quality standards applicable in the company.
· Organization of team performance to ensure maximum efficiency of development in compliance with company policies and customer requirements, regular revisions of software.
· Controlling of testing of software developed by the team: module and integration testing of own code and code written by other software engineers; organization of testing in the team in keeping with company policies.
· Training of team members in keeping with the specialization and providing of technical support to team members.
Job Requirement
· Strong experience and knowledge on C++, at least 5 years hand-on working experience.
· At least 2 years of working experience in leading a developer team.
· General understanding of Project Management principles, prefer candidates who have hand-on experience on project management.
· Knowledge of work estimating techniques
· Knowledge of project scheduling and monitoring tools.
· Knowledge of organizational, leadership and general management skills
· English speaking is must.
