Phygital Labs, founded in 2023 by two ex-Google engineers with over 30 years of Silicon Valley experience, is at the forefront of the phygital (physical-digital) revolution. Our mission is to bridge the physical and digital worlds by developing cutting-edge technology solutions that unlock new possibilities for global markets.
In less than a year, we’ve successfully launched three major products, including:

• galerio.io: An immersive, experience-driven metaverse utilizing spatial computing.
• nomion.io/en: A platform for creating digital identities for physical items.

Our progress is driven by a talented and innovative R&D and engineering team. Now, we’re seeking passionate Backend Fresher/Junior eager to contribute to our groundbreaking projects and apply cutting-edge technologies in real-world settings.
Your Responsibilities:
As a Backend Fresher/Junior, you will have the opportunity to engage in a variety of tech-focused projects. Your core tasks will include:

• Be proficient in server-side development and optimization of data, including database creation and management and debugging
• Integrate data from various back-end services and databases
• Developing Infrastructure for the whole system.
• Optimizing the application for speed and scalability
• Create and maintain software documentation
• Create user-friendly and intuitive interfaces
• Create and analyze reliable and secure back-end functionality
• Maintain, expand, and scale our System
• Remain knowledgeable of emerging technologies/industry trends and apply them into operations and activities
• Collaborate with front-end developers and web designers to match visual design intent

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Golang, Python, Java, etc.).
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive and flexible mindset.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
• Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and apply new technologies.

Bonus Skills (Preferred but not Required):

• Experience with version control systems like Git.
• Familiarity with web or application development.
• Knowledge of cloud services, CI/CD pipelines, or containerization.
• Interest in learning both frontend and backend frameworks
• Eagerness to become a full stack developer and grow in a dynamic, collaborative environment
