📅 Duration: 3 - 6 months
💰 Stipend: 3 - 10 million VND/month (depending on experience & qualifications)
About the Role
We are seeking motivated AI Interns to join our innovative team working on advanced AI and machine learning solutions. This internship offers hands-on experience with real-world applications guided by experienced engineers from both Vietnam and Japan. You will support data processing, model training, and research tasks as part of an active development team.
This internship is part of a cutting-edge AI development project with the following highlights:
Collaboration with a cross-border AI team on impactful projects
Official backing from the Tokyo Metropolitan Government
Involvement in state-of-the-art technologies such as Large Language Models (LLM), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and Knowledge Graphs
Joint R&D with top Japanese universities, including Waseda University and Japan Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (JAIST)
Work alongside researchers who are alumni of Vietnamese institutions, such as Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Ho Chi Minh City University of Natural Sciences
Direct contributions to AI model optimization and web application development for clients adopting next-generation technologies
Responsibilities
As an AI Intern, you will contribute to various phases of AI development. Responsibilities include:
Model Development & Deployment
Assist in designing, developing, testing, and deploying AI models using machine learning and deep learning techniques
Fine-tune open-source Large Language Models (LLMs) for specific use cases
Optimize performance of AI systems, including inference and deployment strategies
Data Handling & Tooling
Collect, clean, and preprocess datasets for model training
Work with Python and leading ML frameworks such as TensorFlow and PyTorch
Manage and optimize performance of Neo4j graph databases
Design and implement Business Intelligence (BI) dashboards and reporting tools
Collaboration & Research
Collaborate with senior engineers and researchers in Vietnam and Japan
Conduct research on current AI trends and propose creative solutions
Commit to a minimum of 20 working hours per week
Requirements
Currently enrolled in or recently graduated (within the past 6 months) from a program in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related field
Solid foundation in programming, especially with Python
Experience through coursework or personal projects in machine learning or deep learning
Familiarity with AI/ML libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn
Understanding of database systems; experience with Neo4j or other graph databases is a plus
Experience with data visualization and dashboard tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus
Proficiency in English, with the ability to communicate and read technical documentation; Japanese proficiency is a plus
Strong willingness to learn and contribute in a collaborative, cross-cultural environment
